Prices are per week for The Orchid House, and includes all heating etc, bed linen and towels, toiletries and a welcome pack on arrival for stays of 4 nights or more.There is also a 20% discount on the price for couples wishing to book The Orchid House for them selves. 

The Orchid House can be booked for as little as 4 nights in Low Season, or at short notice at other times of the year if there is availability.

7 night bookings normally run from Saturday – Saturday, other start days may be possible subject to availability.

For groups larger than 4, rooms in the B & B wing can be occupied at a room only rate.

Terms and Conditions

A deposit of 25% of the total cost will be payable on booking.

Your holiday let will be ready on the day of your arrival from 4.00 p.m. onwards.

Check out on the day of your departure is 10.00 a.m.

Should you have to cancel your holiday more than 4 weeks prior to your date of arrival and we are successfully able to re-let under the same original terms and conditions then we will refund your deposit, less an administration fee of £25.00.

The balance of the full cost of the holiday is due 4 weeks prior to the date of arrival. A reminder letter/email will be sent out 5 weeks prior to date of arrival. If the balance of payment is not received by the stated date, we may treat the booking as being canceled, and the dates will be marketed again and the deposit forfeited.

In the unfortunate case of having to cancel your holiday after the balance has been paid, we will make every effort to re-let the property. If we are able to re-let under the same original terms and conditions, then we will refund the whole of the remaining balance that has been paid. It is also advisable to have holiday insurance in case this is not possible. Please note that holiday cancellations must be made in writing.

Full payment is required if the booking is made less than 4 weeks prior to the start of the holiday.

We are able to accept Cash, Cheques ( with a valid banker's guarantee card ), Visa, Mastercard, Switch or Maestro. There is a 2% surcharge when paying by a credit card but no charge on Debit cards.

The number of people occupying the property may not exceed the number as agreed on at the time of booking without prior consent, in this case there may be an additional charge at the owners discretion.

Guests are required to leave the property, furniture and equipment in the same condition as found upon arrival. If a breakage or damage should occur, please notify the owners as soon as possible. The cost of the damage may then have to be borne by the party concerned, at the discretion of the owners.

The house will be in a clean condition on your arrival, and guests must leave it in a like condition. The right is reserved to make a charge for additional cleaning if the property has not been left reasonably clean.

The Owner has the right to enter the property at any reasonable time for the purpose of inspection, repair work, etc.

In the unlikely event of your holiday let becoming unavailable due to circumstances beyond our control, then every effort will be made to provide alternative accommodation. Failing this, there will be a complete refund of all monies that have been paid to date and our liability to you will cease there.

The properties are totally non-smoking & we regret that we are unable to accommodate pets.
